Toonami News has posted the first promo image from the upcoming Samurai Jack revival series which was unveiled at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival and Market in France.
The new season of Samurai Jack is scheduled to premiere later this on Adult Swim’s Toonami in the States. According to toonamifaithful.com the 10-episode series will be set 50 years after the events of season four, and have a darker, “more adult” tone than the previous episodes. Apparently it will also “close” the story.
We just love the fact that after directing two hugely successful movies (Hotel Transylvania and it sequel) Genndy Tartakovsy has decided to go back a little old TV show he created.
