Marvel has used its panel at Comic Con to reveal some new casting details (and a new logo) for its upcoming Black Panther movie.
Starring alongside Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther (who we’ve already seen in Captain America: Civil War, of course) will be Michael B Jordan (Creed, Fruitvale Station) as Erik Killmonger, a villain from the Marvel Comics universe); Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years A Slave, Star Wars: The Force Awakens) as Nakia, a former member of Wakanda’s Dora Milaje, now an agent of Killmonger; and Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead) as Okoye, a member of the Dora Milaje, the wives-in-training for the King of Wakanda.
“I want to thank you for your energy, we’re gonna take it, work hard and we’ll see you soon,” said director Ryan Coogler.
Marvel has also released this Black Panther featurette which will form part of a much longer making-of documentary in the Captain America: Civil War Blu-ray extras. [via Coming Soon]
