Warners unveiled an early look at director Zack Snyder’s Justice League movie with a random assortment of footage from the film (with Superman noticeably unresurrected so far). Some of it appears to be the same footage that was previewed to journalists in London earlier in the year (see here). It certainly feels like Snyder is trying to put some more humour in this one after the grim Batman V Superman, but it also feels like it’s not quite his natural territory. For instance, the scene in which Bruce outs Barry Allen as the Flash actually sounded more amusing when IO9 was describing it a few months back than it actually across out on screen. And why does Snyder insist on such a washed-out colour palette? On the other hand, there are plenty of cool moments that hint that Justice League could be all kinds of fun. Cross fingers.
