Among many new characters announced for Once Upon A Time season six at the show’s San Diego Comic-Con was an unspecified former Knight of the Table, now a barman in the Underworld, to be played by Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s Spike, James Marsters. His appearance was revealed in a clip shown during the panel; it’s from a special feature on season five Blu-ray and DVD release called Tales From The Underworld: A Knight With Cruella, which tells the story of what happened to Cruella (Victoria Smurfit) after everyone left her behind in the Underworld.
The panel also revealed that season six begin with an Aladdin (Deniz Adkeniz) and Jafar (Oded Fehr) storyline. Jafar was previously played by Lost’s Naveen Andrews in Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Meanwhile, Giles Matthey will play Morpheus, who will guide Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumple (Robert Carlyle) through a dream land as the Greek mythology figure Morpheus.
Craig Horner has previously been announced as coming in to play the Count of Monte Cristo, while Entertainment Weekly reports that Galavant star Karen David has been cast as Princess Jasmine.
