Here’s what the CW is touting the San Diego Comic-Con trailer for DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow season two, though to be honest it’s about 75% season one, which feels a bit of a swizz. There is a chunk of season two footage in the middle, though, revealing that Arrow’s Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) will be making a guest appearance in the season opener.
Darhk isn’t the only new villain for season two. Legends Of Tomorrow will also introduce the Legion of Doom, featuring some of the best villains from the other Arrowverse shows – including Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) as well as Damien Darhk.
“For season two of Legends, we decided that the perfect antagonist for TV’s first-ever team of superheroes would be TV’s first-ever team of super villains,” said executive producer Marc Guggenheim. “We recruited from the ranks of Arrow and The Flash’s deadliest adversaries. Being huge fans of the Challenge Of The Superfriends… we’ve come to call this group our Legion of Doom.
Meanwhile, Rex Tyler, aka Hourman (Patrick J Adams), who appeared for a cameo at the end of the season one finale, isn’t the only member of the Justice Society of America who will show up on Legends. Some of the yet-to-be-cast characters include Obsidian, Stargirl and Dr Mid-Nite.
