Chloe Bennet – Daisy, aka, Quake, née Skye on Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD – has told The Hollywood Reporter what her ideal episode of the show, and it doesn’t feature much action, except over who gets control of the TV remote.
“I just want an episode where they all like go to the movies and pick up some pizza from Costco on the way back and just hang out,” she says. “I’d love a low-key chill episode where they just don’t do anything and they’re on a Netflix binge and Coulson doesn’t want to watch Stranger Things but Daisy does. I’d be really into a version of SHIELD where they’re all fighting over what to watch.”
Don’t worry, though – Bennet promises plenty of action for Daisy in the first episode of the new season.
“We’re on episode three and I’ve had some of the best days I’ve ever had shooting these scenes. I’m doing some of the most crazy stunts I’ve ever done. It’s laced with all this pain and resentment. She’s seeking penance for the loss that she feels responsible for.”
Bennet also reveals that originally the writers on the show were considering turning Daisy into Quake earlier in the season.
“I know the writers were particular about how they wanted to introduce her as Quake. There was another point where they were going to do that earlier on this season but I love the way that they did it with the flash forward and the newspaper articles. And I actually read those articles. Someone – I don’t know who – but they actually typed out all of the stories and they were actual articles written about Quake. That was really fun to see.”
