••• Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 director James Gunn has been on Facebook Live again revealing titbits about the Marvel movie. He’s amazing how much he reveals without revealing much at all. This time highlights include:
- A hint that Groot won’t be growing up fast in the movie: “Don’t expect baby Groot to do too much changing in the second movie.”
- He hasn’t decided if he’ll direct Guardians 3 yet.
- That monster we saw the guardians fighting in the concept art released recently? “[It’s] a multidimensional being. The Guardians have been hired to fight him.” He also revealed that it’s called an Abilisk.
- Also, “I have a huge battle scene in Guardians 2 which actually started in storyboards before it was a screenplay,” says Gunn. “I drew it all out first, because I saw it visually in my head.”
