AMC has revealed the title of the season seven premiere for The Walking Dead, and for long-term fans it may well have a ring of chilling familiarity.
That title is: “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be.”
This is the exact phrase that Dr Edwin Jenner at the Centre for Disease Control used way back in season one, episode six “TS-19”, when Rick says he’s “grateful” for her giving him the opportunity to live on. Ominous, eh?
The officially releases synopsis doesn’t reveal much more than we know already: “Last season ended with Rick and our group kneeling helplessly before Negan and his group. What Negan does will haunt those who survive forever.”
The season seven premiere is expected to have a longer than usual running time. Well, it takes time to clean brain matter off a baseball bat.
