While Agents Of SHIELD season four is off on its winter hols in the States – and we’re still waiting for it to start on E4 in the UK early next year – there will be a new webseries spin-off called Slingshot to watch to tide us over. Marvel has also revealed that the subtitle for the second half of season four will be “LMD” so expect lots of AI-related shenanigans.
The six-part Slingshot series, spotlighting Natalia Cordova’s Yo-Yo, will premiere online on Tuesday 13 December. According to Cordova-Buckley, Slingshot will explore Yo-Yo’s adventures between seasons three and four. “We’re going to see a lot of her anger and her pain come out in regard to certain injustices that have been done to her and her family,” she explains. “But at the same time, she never loses her humanity. She doesn’t let the anger blind her.” [via ComicBookResources]
