Here’s a new trailer for director Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword which exactly like you’d expect a Guy Ritchie version of the Arthurian myth to look like. The only thing that surprises us is that there aren’t any sparks flying when Arthur drags Excalibur across a stone floor… The film is due for a UK release on 12 May 2017.
When the child Arthur’s father is murdered,Arthur’s uncle Vortigern (Jude Law) seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.
King Arthur: The Legend Of The Sword also stars Astrid Bergès-Frisbey (Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) as Mage; Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond, In America) as Bedivere; Aidan Gillen (Game Of Thrones) as Goosefat Bill and Eric Bana (Hulk, Star Trek) as Arthur’s father, King Uther Pendragon.
