While there are the major, massively-marketed Arrowverse crossovers like the four-show “Invasion” storyline, and the upcoming Supergirl/The Flash musical mash-up, lots of minor crossovers take place all the time between the CW’s DC superhero shows. In fact, Legends Of Tomorrow is rapidly becoming a crossover Spaghetti Junction, the show where characters from other Arrowverse shows go for a busman’s holiday. And that’s set to continue apace.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed that Black Flash and other as-yet-unnamed Arrowverse characters will be heading for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow during the remainder of season two.
“We’re going to be seeing the Black Flash on Legends,” says Guggenheim, adding, “We, just yesterday made an offer to an actor to reprise their role from one of the other shows in the season finale of Legends. Oh, and in the penultimate episode we’re gonna have — I can’t be specific about this, but it’s one of the most fun things I think we’ve ever done on the show — a character from one of the other shows on Legends in a way that you’ve never seen before, you may never see again, but will, I think, just send fans into squeals of joy.”
Referring to the fact that DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow has a new timeslot for the new year in the States – right after The Flash on Tuesdays – he muses, “I wish I could say that we were so smart to take advantage of the new timeslot and do that, but we weren’t that smart. We just had already sort of been doing that organically anyway when we found out about the new timeslot.”
