Yesterday we posted a pic of Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard as Richie Tozier in the forthcoming first part of the two-part cinematic adaptation of Stephen King’s It. Now, producer Barbara Muschietti has posted images of the rest (well, nearly the rest) of the Losers Club. In case that means nothing to you, the films are set in two time periods, the first in the ’80s and the follow-up in the present (it was the ’60s and the then-present in the book); in the ’80s a group of misfits kids in an American town face the horror of the shape-shifting killer clown Pennywise, then in the present their grown-up selves have to face him once again when he’s returns to town. It’s a book with a built-in sequel!
So here are the kids from the Losers Club in the first film; we’ve stuck in Finn Wolfhard again at the bottom for the sake of completeness. The others are Eddie Kaspbrak (Jack Grazer), Mike Hanlon (Chosen Jacobs), Ben Hanscom (Jeremy Ray Taylor), Beverly Marsh (Sophia Lillis) and Stanley Uris (Wyat Olaff). However, the nominal leader of the Club, “Big” Bill Denbrough (Jaeden Lieberher) is mysteriously absent.
The first film is due for release in September.
