There’s still over two months to go until the UK premiere of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 (28 April, folks) but it feels like the publicity machine is already in overdrive. What’s it going to be like come the last week in April? Anyway, here’s the new TV spot, with music courtesy of Davie Bowie, “Suffragette City”.
Talking of the music, over on Twitter, a fan asked director James Gunn if all the songs in the trailers (which have included Sweet’s “Fox On The Run” and Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain”) would be in the film, and Gun replied:
“All of them are from my short lists for songs I’d LIKE to fit in the movie. But not all of them are in the movie…”
And in related news, according to The Hollywood Reporter, a test screening for Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 just scored a perfect 100 from its audience, a rare feat for any film and the first for Marvel Studios. That makes the earliest reactions to the film better than they were for both The Avengers and Iron Man III, both of which scored in the high 90s.
