Spoons! The Tick has a new sleeker, shinier costume as the Amazon Prime superhero spoof series goes into production on its first season following its successful pilot (which you can still watch on Amazon Prime). Series star Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians Of The Galaxy, Shaun Of The Dead, Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace) poses in the new outfit, and we’ve reposted an image of the original costume below that so you can compare and contrast to your heart’s content.
Behold good world, @serafinowicz is finally suited up for the first week on set. #TheTick pic.twitter.com/bjDlpWcULN

Ben Edlund, who’s still very actively involved in the new series, created the Tick in 1986 as a mascot for New England Comics. Since then he’s grown in cult appeal with this own comic book series, animated series and a short-lived live action series in 2001,
The new series stars Serafinowicz as the Tick, Griffin Newman as Arthur Everest, Valorie Curry as Dot Everest, Brendan Hines as Superian, Jackie Earle Haley as The Terror and Yara Martinez as Ms Lint. Read our review of the pilot via the link below.
