Midnight, Texas is a new US supernatural series from NBC based on the book trilogy by Charlaine Harris. Recognise the name? She also created the Southern Vampire Mysteries on which True Blood was based.
Midnight is a remote town in Texas where nothing is what it seems; where being normal is strange and only outsiders fit in. Midnight is a mysterious safe haven for those who are different – a perfect place for anyone looking to hide from the outside world.
The show will premiere in the UK on Syfy in July, and here’s a whole bunch of cast and creator interviews bagged by BUZZ’s intrepid reporter Tanavi Patel at WonderCon which act as a great introduction to the show.
First up, Arielle Kebbel who play hitwoman Olivia and Jason Lewis who plays angel Joe Strong.
Next, François Arnaud stars as Manfred Bernardo who arrives in Midnight to ply his trade only to find that he’s probably the least weird thing going on in the place. Sarah Ramos plays a waitress called Creek, a woman with secrets of her own.
The next one features Parisa Fitz-Henley who plays Fiji Cavanaugh, a witch and Dylan Bruce who plays Bobo Winthrop, a pawn shop owner (we bet there’s more to him than that!).
