Bandai Namco has confirmed the gorgeous JRPG collaboration between Level 5 and Studio Ghibli, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, will be released on November 10th for PS4 and PC.
The release date was confirmed in a new trailer debuted at E3, in which we’re introduced to the game’s hero, Evan. The young king, who has been banished from his kingdom, must travel the world of Ding Dong Dell and unite the land to reclaim his title.
The game’s new combat system is also on display, moving away from the Pokémon-esque minion battling of the original game for a more action-based affair. Larger scale army battles are also briefly shown, as tiny squadrons bump into each other and fling fireballs across open plains.
It all looks positively lovely and we want to play it immediately.
