Atlus has announced that it will be bringing Shin Megami Tensei V to the Nintendo Switch.
The news came as part of the developer’s reveal event for the next entry in the Shin Megami Tensei series after they confirmed a Switch game was in development back in January.
We know very little about the game outside of the teaser trailer above, which shows two high school students wandering through a train station and some demonic corpses in a tunnel beneath Tokyo.
Considering the urban setting, comparisons to Persona 5 come quickly – a game which was a huge success for Atlus outside of Japan earlier this year. That should bode well for Shin Megami Tensei V‘s release hopes in the West, though no formal announcement has been made yet.
