Perfume have released a ‘short version’ of the music video for their upcoming single Mugen Mirai (Infinite Future). The track serves as the theme song to the live-action film Chihayafuru: Musubi and was first heard in its trailer.

As reported on Natalie, the video is directed by Yusuke Tanaka and was shot in Guam.

a-chan, NOOCHi and KASHIYUKA are fans of Yuki Suetsugu’s manga series Chihayafuru and have had their songs featured in the live-action film adaptations. Their track FLASH was the theme song for Chihayafuru: Kami no Ku and its sequel Chihayafuru: Shimo no Ku, both of which were released back to back in 2016. The third part, Chihayafuru: Musubi, is released in Japan on 17 March 2018.

The full music video for Mugen Mirai can be found on the bundled DVD of the Limited Edition and Chihayafuru Edition of the single. The Limited Edition also includes the track FUSION (from NTT Docomo’s FUTURE EXPERIMENT), while the Chihayafuru Edition includes the track FLASH. Mugen Mirai is released in Japan on 14 March 2018.
