As well as a tour, 2018 will also see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu releasing a new single; her first since Easta, which was released back in April 2017.

As reported on Natalie, Kyary will release her new single, titled Kimi no Mikata on 11 April 2018. The song was gifted to her on her birthday by producer Yasutaka Nakata. The jacket cover for the single was also released, and compared to her more elaborate outfits, it shows Kyary in a plain yellow dress with drawstrings and wearing lace gloves.

Kyary also revealed via Twitter an updated schedule for what is now a world tour, with her show, THE SPOOKY OBAKEYASHIKI ~PUMPKINS STRIKE BACK~. The tour begins in the UK, with two shows in Germany and three in the US (tickets for the US shows will go on sale from 9 March).

20 May 2018 London, United Kingdom – KOKO
22 May 2018 Berlin, Germany – Columbia Theater
23 May 2018 Cologne, Germany – Die Kantine
18 June 2018 New York, US – Playstation Theater
20 June 2018 San Francisco, US – The Regency Ballroom
22 June 2018 Los Angeles, US – The Fonda Theatre
