Netflix has charged 13 female artists from all over the globe with the task of creating 13 exclusive pulp art covers for the second season of Jessica Jones.
Why 13, you might wonder, as you clench that rabbit’s foot just a little bit tighter? Because that’s how many episodes there are in the series, and the artists have taken their inspiration from those individual episodes, with each pulp cover highlighting “the spirit and essence” of each Season 2 episode.
The artists are Stephanie Hans, Jen Bartel, Elizabeth Torque, Kate Niemczyk, Colleen Doran, Erica Henderson, Audrey Mok, Joyce Chin, Jenny Frison, Amy Reeder, Ema Lupacchino, June Brigman and Annie Wu.
The season two blurb…
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
The cast for Season 2 includes Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss (Jeri Hogarth), Eka Darville (Malcolm Ducasse), alongside new cast members Janet McTeer and JR Ramirez.
