Following a teaser that was released a few days ago (where Margot Robbie’s character claims to be “as mad as a hatter”), there is now a full trailer for the neo-noir thriller Terminal.
The trailer itself is a mix of neon lights, pointed guns, pole-dancing, a lot of smoking, and an Alice in Wonderland theme (notice the text on the blackboard). It does all look gorgeous in the widescreen frame but doesn’t really help explain what is actually going on.
Terminal weaves together the story of two assassins (Dexter Fletcher and Max Irons) carrying out a sinister mission, a teacher (Simon Pegg) battling a fatal illness, an enigmatic janitor (Mike Meyers) and a waitress (Margot Robbie) leading a dangerous double life who might be more involved than anyone suspects. All of their lives intertwine at the hands of a mysterious criminal mastermind hell-bent on revenge.
From writer and director Vaughn Stein, directing his first feature film, with Robbie also serving as producer, Terminal opens in the US and On Demand on 11 May 2018.
