PS4 and Switch owners in Japan will be able to play the Disgaea: Hour of Darkness remake when it launches on July 26th.
The news of the upcoming release date makes its way to us from the latest issue of Dengeki PlayStation (thanks, Siliconera), who also revealed the game will ship as a limited edition featuring the original soundtrack and a desk calendar in a fancy presentation box for 9,200 yen.
However, little is currently known about exactly how significant the remake will be, but translations suggest the usual run of industry standard graphical and gameplay improvements for an HD update.
Apparently, a “significant additional element” is also unknown too, which could suggest the inclusion of the previously released DLC and New Game+ mode as standard or some new content entirely.
For fans of the series, we’ll be keeping an eye on this one to see if the game makes it was to the West too!
