Mega Man X Legacy Collection trailers reveal gameplay and bonus features

The updates on Mega Man’s 30th anniversary just keep on coming, with two new trailers for Capcom’s Mega Man X Legacy Collection.

As reported on Anime News Network, two new trailers were uploaded by PlayStation Japan. Known as Rockman X Anniversary Collection in Japan. Both trailers show footage from each of the games that come with the collection.

The trailers also previews the additional extras, such as the graphical filter option (available for the first six games), the music player, footage of the short film The Day of Σ, (originally included with the game Maverick Hunter X), X Challenge Mode (where you can battle two bosses from different Mega Man X games) and the Mega Man X Museum, which includes a gallery of artwork, trailers and collectable merchandise released over the years.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection includes the games Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3 and Mega Man X4.

Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 includes the games Mega Man X5, Mega Man X6, Mega Man X7 and Mega Man X8.

Both will be released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Europe digitally and in the USA digitally and physically on 24 July 2018. The games are released in Japan on 26 July 2018.
