Netflix has announced that Sanrio’s Aggressive Retsuko, Aggretsuko, will receive a second season. The announcement was made during Netflix’s panel at Anime Expo, where just hours later they uploaded a new teaser.
FANWORKS animated series follows Retsuko, a red panda who works as an office associate in the accounting department of a trading company in Tokyo. She just wants is to do her job and get through the day, but her boss and co-workers pile more work for her. Rather than talk back to them, she takes her frustrations out by going to karaoke sessions and singing death metal.
The teaser shows that she’s still at it, as she kicks off her heels and cranks up the volume.
Season two of Aggretsuko is set to arrive on Netflix in 2019
