The MCM Manchester Comic Con takes place this weekend (28 – 29 July 2018) at Manchester Central. If you want to be fully prepared for the weekend ahead then you’ll want to have a look at the show guide, which is now online. The cover art is by Sarah Graley, who you can visit in the Comic Village at the convention, at table CB4.
To view the ebook, click here (or you can click the cover image to the right). The show guide will also be available to pick up in person at the event.
The show guide has information about the guests attending and the artists at the Comic Village (pages 36 – 43). You can bond over your favourite fandom at the new Community Zone (pages 32 – 33). There is also the Global Championships of Cosplay (pages 44 – 45), with the first UK qualifier taking place at MCM Manchester Comic Con. If you’re not in cosplay, you can still show your love for MCM by purchasing some MCM-branded clothing at the event (at 241).
Plus you can find the floorplan (pages 24-25), so you can navigate your way through the hall and find out where the likes of TokyoToys, All The Anime and Genki Gear are, as well as the Main Stage and Singings area. There is a directory too (page 26) just in case you want to track down a specific dealer (so you can say hello to Amazing Cake Company at 231 and Tofu Cute at 553).
UPDATE (25/07/18): The schedule for the Main Stage, Live Stage, Community Zone and Photoshoots can be found by clicking here.
You can also download the MCM Comic Con App for everything that’s on the showfloor, maps, schedules, an FAQ and merchandise.
