Angus Macfadyen, best known for playing Robert the Bruce in Mel Gibson’s Braveheart, will be among the special guests meeting fans at September’s MCM Scotland Comic Con, show organisers announced today.
Glasgow-born Macfadyen is set to reprise his breakthrough role as the renowned warrior king in upcoming movie Robert the Bruce, whose story picks up where 1995 hit Braveheart left off. Macfadyen’s other major movie credits include the villainous DuPont in sci-fi actioner Equilibrium; Jeff Denlon in the Saw horror franchise; MacCready in Cameron Crowe comedy We Bought a Zoo and biologist James Murray in last year’s critically-acclaimed The Lost City of Z.
Meanwhile, Angus Macfadyen’s television career include stints on well-received US historical dramas Turn: Washington’s Spies and The Pinkertons, as well as appearances on shows such as Californication, Criminal Minds, Alias, Soldier Soldier and Chuck.
MCM Scotland Comic Con takes place on 22-23 September. Tickets are available here.
