MUTANT MONSTER to release UK album and tour across Asia and Europe

Japanese punk band MUTANT MONSTER will release a special edition of their latest album, NEKOKABURI, overseas via JPU Records.

The trio of BE (bass and vocals), MEANA (guitar and vocals) and CHAD (drums and chorus) will release NEKOKABURI (Lion in Cats Clothing), which features eight tracks from their upcoming Japanese album, TO TSU ZE N HE N I, plus an additional two never before released songs, an exclusive cover and booklet design, plus English lyric translations.

NEKOKABURI is released on 2 November 2018 and is available to pre-order now at JPU Records. The tracklist is below.

MUTANT MONSTER already played in the UK earlier this year with Electric Six, but they will be returning as they revealed a 16-date tour of Asia and Europe through October and November.

You can check out the music video to the track Hanashiteageru (I’ll Let You Go), which features BE, MEANA, and CHAD cutting their hair short and revealing an entirely new look. “We donated our trademark black hair to children who are fighting against cancer,” says the band. “It took us two years to prepare our hair to the right length, and it takes around 20 people to donate their hair to create one wig. So we feel this is an important opportunity to spread about hair donation.”
