MCM Birmingham Comic Con is nearly upon us, taking place at The NEC on 24-25 November 2018. If you want to plan your weekend then do take a look at the show guide. The cover image is by Anna Hollinrake, who you can visit in the Comic Village at the convention at table CV69. There’s also an interview with her in the show guide (page 30).
To view the ebook click here, or you can launch it by clicking the cover image to the right. A printed version of the show guide will also be available to pick up at the event in person.
The convention will be taking place in halls 17, 18 and 19 (you’ll have to queue in hall 20). Take a quick peek at the floorplan (pages 18-19) so you can navigate your way through the halls and locate the likes of the MCM Main Stage, the Community Zone, TokyoToys, Nintendo and the Steampunk Exhibition. If you want to track down a specific dealer, use the directory (pages 14-16), so you can say hello to Amazing Cake Company at 1328 and Tofu Cute at 1310.
The show guide includes a list of the guests attending this weekend (pages 8-11) and the artists at the Comic Village (pages 22-25). Plus there are dates for all the MCM conventions taking place in 2019 (page 34)
You can also download the MCM Comic Con App for everything that’s on the showfloor, maps, schedules, an FAQ and merchandise.
