The Star Trek Discovery Poster [18” x 24”] is a reminder of how patiently we all waited for the return of Trek to our TVs and shows the artwork used to promote the series before it started all those weeks ago in September.
The Star Trek: Discovery phaser is a nice blend of the design we saw in Enterprise and the early Captain Pike-era pistol we saw in the TOS episode “The Cage” (S1, E0) and the second pilot “Where No Man Has Gone Before” (S1, E3), with its distinct three barrel interchangeable front, that resembles the early TV studio cameras from the 50s. It completes the Discovery range at Anovos and will set you back $500.
Nothing goes better with holiday cheer than a hot cup of coffee, cocoa, or “tea, earl grey, hot.” Designs include the Starfleet Command and Klingon Logo. Reduced from $14.95 to $11.95, or 5 Federation Credits.
The Star Trek: Discovery Official Collector’s Edition is available from Titan Books and offers itself as the “essential hardcover guide to the galaxy’s newest Star Trek television series.” Available from Amazon.
FanSets has created a brand new set of Star Trek: Discovery pins, each representing an episode from Season 1. So far, eight pins have been revealed, with the rest in the set to be made available after more episodes air. Meanwhile, fans can also purchase individual character pins, including Burnham, Saru, Lorca, Tilly and more.
Have the crew of the USS Discovery guard your office with these life-size standees of Lorca, Burnham, and Stamets. Believe in the Federation. From $39.95.
As keen-eyed fans have noticed, Star Trek: Discovery‘s badges feature a distinctive design made up of two overlapping metal pieces: one brushed and one polished. Now, QMx has developed perfect replicas of the different insignias, which use strong, short-field magnets that are embedded in each badge, and a glossy backplate. (This is to avoid piercing fabric with pins.) Available in Command, Science, Operations, and Medical.
Tis the season for outerwear, and that’s where these comfy Star Trek: Discovery hoodies come in. Available in Starfleet Command Zip, Klingon Pullover and more.
Taking a step beyond the typical graphic tee, these uniform shirts draw on costume designs from the series itself. For Starfleet loyalists, shirts come in Command, Science, Operations, and Medical (both short-sleeve and long) and for the Klingon fans, there are T’Kuvma, L’Rell, and Voq tees. Prices vary, but they’re all available from the Star Trek shop.
The Star Trek Shop offers a wide variety of other short-sleeve tees, including Discovery Pride, Starfleet Command, Remain Klingon Poster, and more. Available here.
Finally, the one you’ve all been waiting for. This screen-accurate DISCO shirt – worn by Michael Burnham (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Sylvia Tilly (Mary Wiseman) in the episode “Lethe” – is just the solution. Available here.
The second season of Star Trek: Discovery will comprise of 13 episodes with no mid-season break. It will premiere on Thursday, January 17, 2019, in the US and Canada, and in the rest of the world on Friday, January 18, 2019.
