Chucklefish has announced that their Advance Wars inspired strategy RPG Wargroove will be released on February 1st.
The announcement was made as part of yesterday’s Nintendo Switch Indie Highlights showcase, although Wargroove will also be launching on Xbox One and PC on the same date. A PS4 release date is expected to be confirmed shortly.
As for the game itself, Wargroove is a turn-based strategy game from Chucklefish – the team behind Starbound and publishers of excellent farming sim Stardew Valley. In it, you choose a commander to take into battle and fight through a campaign in either solo or co-operative multiplayer against other warring factions. By the way, one of those commanders is a dog!
You can also play against other players, design your own battlefield maps or undertake unique puzzle challenges.
Meanwhile, Chucklefish also announced that spooky puzzle-platformer Inmost will also be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2019. It looks phenomenal!
Wargroove will be released on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC on February 1. A PS4 release date will be confirmed soon.
