It looks like we could be getting some new info on the next Pokémon titles in an all-new Nintendo Direct broadcast scheduled for 2pm GMT on February 27.
The news was tweeted out earlier today from across various Nintendo channels, promising that there will be “roughly 7 minutes of new information” revealed on tomorrow’s live stream.
We can’t be sure, but we would strongly speculate that this will be the first time we hear about the major Pokémon RPGs in development for Nintendo Switch – even if a whole seven minutes doesn’t sound like a lot for a significant reveal.
To be fair, we might just get the first clues as to what is in the works for the future of Pokémon. We could get something as complete as the titles and early footage from two new games in Gen 8 as they are expected to be released before the end of 2019.
For many players, Let’s Go! Pikachu and Let’s Go! Eevee have kept fans busy for a little while, yet news of the bigger games has been anticipated for some time now. Guess all we can do is wait and see what happens tomorrow afternoon!
