With Domino set to make her big screen appearance this summer in the Deadpool sequel, Marvel has revealed that the lucky mercenary will be receiving a new comic, written by Gail Simone.

The series will see her hunted by her enemies and a man who hates her more than anything after she finds herself on the wrong side of the mercenary community. You can check out the cover of issue #1, with artwork by Greg Land and Frank D’Armata.

“With Domino, you literally never know which way the dice are going to roll,” said Simone in a statement from Marvel. “I love her, and I can’t wait to show her best bad side!” As well as tweeting how happy she is with the cover, she also tweeted that she considers Domino, “the poster child for bad behavior,” and said, “If you liked my Deadpool or Birds of Prey runs, this is that stuff with extra hot sauce!”

Domino first appeared in Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza’s The New Mutants back in 1991, only turn out to be a fake, imitated by Copycat. She received her ‘real’ introduction in Liefeld and Nicieza’s X-Force in 1992. More recently, she has been appearing in Weapon X.

The character will be portrayed by Zazie Beetz in the upcoming Deadpool sequel.

The first issue of Domino is released on 11 April 2018.
