A new Avengers movie means yet another round of tweaks for every character’s costume…and Iron Man is no different.
We got a brief glimpse of it in the MCU film’s first trailer in November 2017, but our first full look at the suit in action comes courtesy of a new advert for Disneyland Paris.
The armour has a more rounded and streamlined look than his other designs. Personally, we think it looks like something out of Gunther von Hagens’ Body Worlds and The Mirror of Time exhibition. You know the one, variations of it were popping up all over the place and it even made an appearance in Casino Royale (2006).
The Infinity War trailer revealed that a version of the giant Hulkbuster armour will also appear in the movie. Plus it looks like Tony Stark will be having a new arc reactor embedded in his chest.
Avengers 4 will conclude the MCU’s Phase Four and is widely expected to end with some deaths or at least permanent retirements of its heroes. As the longest-serving Marvel hero, Robert Downey Jr is the favourite to retire from crimefighting. Again.
The current cast as listed on IMDb basically includes every single MCU character we’ve seen up til now, from the Guardians of the Galaxy crew, to Dr Strange, Ant Man, almost every Asgardian, The Collector and of course, Thanos.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in the UK on April 27 and in the US on May 4.
