With Dragon Ball Super: Broly currently killing at the UK box office, distributor Manga Entertainment wants to hear from the anime film’s biggest fans, with Dragon Ball prizes on offer to people who send in stories, screenshots, photos and videos demonstrating their dedication.
Already the third biggest anime earner ever at UK theatres, Manga is pushing hard for Dragon Ball Super: Broly to depose Ghibli’s Spirited Away and Howl’s Moving Castle to take top spot, with more than 150 new screenings added from Friday 1 February. As part of the drive, the London-based distributor is asking for superfans to get in touch:
“Have you seen Dragon Ball Super: Broly five, six – or even seven – times? Did you travel through snow and sleet for miles to support the cinema release? Did you go all out and show up to your screening in costume? We want to hear from you!”
All entries should be e-mailed to email@example.com using the subject line ‘Dragon Ball Super Fan’. Three winners will be selected by the Manga UK team, with goodies such as Dragon Ball T-shirts, the original Broly trilogy on DVD, the complete DBZ Kai on Blu-ray, mini posters and Dragon Ball figurines from anime figure specialist Animegami all up for grabs. The giveaway is open to UK and Ireland residents only.
